The Painted Turtle seeks to reach beyond illness... to inspire children with life-threatening diseases to become their greater selves. It is our mission to provide a year-round, life-changing environment for these children and their families ? one that allows children to participate in an authentic camp experience by supporting their medical needs and offers their families care, education and respite.Condition groups served include children with liver transplant, hemophilia, kideny disease, dialysis and transplant, crohns colitis, muscular dysrophy, type I diabetes, and skeletal dysplasias.Come join our med team for a week this summer RNs with current CPR and 1 year pediatric experience preferred. Nurses are responsible for general camper and staff care, administration of routine and prn medications and treatments, and providing urgent care with physician support. Housing and meals are provided onsite. Summer long paid positions are also available.Physicians and allied healthcare professionals welcome. Cabin counselor opportunities are available to students in healthcare related areas of study. Get ready to have some fun, laugh long and make memories
